Meet Cliff Moon

Rooted in LD1. Ready for Olympia.

Cliff Moon has called Legislative District 1 home for over a decade. He has built his life here — raising his family in Kenmore, running a small business, volunteering in the community, and watching his children grow up in the neighborhoods that make LD1 special.

Cliff's journey was never a straight line. He started with nothing, worked his way up through the trades, and eventually built a business from the ground up. That experience taught him something no policy briefing can: what it actually costs to make ends meet, and what government gets wrong when it loses sight of the people it's supposed to serve.

"I'm not running because I want a career in politics. I'm running because LD1 deserves someone who will fight for it — and go home when the work is done."

Over the years, Cliff has seen his community change. Property taxes have soared, small businesses struggle under mounting regulations, and the question of public safety has become increasingly urgent for families across Lake Forest Park, Kenmore, Woodinville, and Bothell. He believes the status quo isn't working — and he has a clear, practical agenda to change it.

Cliff's campaign is built on four pillars: property tax relief, public safety, support for small businesses, and investment in infrastructure. These aren't abstract policy goals — they're the issues his neighbors bring up every time he's at a community event, a school board meeting, or the local hardware store.
